Description |
"Cro-Magnon Buffalo Soldier" is a raku vessel created by Bill Capshaw. The vessel is spherical in shape, like a stout vase. The vessel features four faces with protruding features along the exterior. Each face includes defined eyebrows, noses, and lips. There are mountainous, organic motifs that encircle the exterior of the vessel along the rounded top (below the lip) and bottom (above the base). These vague mountain-like shapes vary in color from the dark surface of the vessel; instead, they feature earthy shades of green and brown. The lip of the vessel is defined and protrudes outward slightly. The title and signed name are inscribed on the bottom of the vessel. |
