Description |
This feed sack quilt, or "scrap quilt," is composed of several colorful feed sack squares and rectangles on the front side. The back of the quilt is a standard or "plain" feed sack back. Some of the feed sack squares include brand logos, details, and motifs like roses (red, blue), stripes, roosters (green, pink), polka dots (blue, white), and floral designs (blue, green, orange, yellow, red). The feed sacks advertise brands in Pike's Peak, Bluff City, and Mohawk, Tennessee. This quilt has a sleeve for suspension purposes. |
