Object Name |
Cape |
Description |
This light green cape is likely made of a woven synthetic satin such as rayon. The cape comes down to the hips and is lined with a smoother but stiff fabric. Two button loops are attached to the edge of the large collar. The loops are made of thin strands of braided metal over cotton thread. The cape would have been worn with a cloak clasp fastener through both button holes. The style of the cape looks to be from the 1920s - 1940s. |
