Description |
This collaged painting depicts a group of abstracted and elongated figures in the foreground, some of which are wearing patterned tunic-like garb. The background and flooring on which the figures are standing are an array of geometric shapes. The whole composition is treated with a saturated color palette coated irregularly by washes of white paint. Crossley's signature is visible in the lower right corner as "C. Crossley." The collage is made up of pieces of painted paper glued on top of each other. |
