Description |
This is a masculine doll wearing traditional Kurdish clothing. The doll wears a long black coat or robe, an orange and gold striped top, a white pshtwen (sash or cummerbund) with golden embroidery, baggy black sharwall or salvar (pants), black leather shoes, and a burgundy skullcap with a white scarf wrapped around it (imamah). The doll holds misbaha (prayer beads) with a tassel in the right hand. The beard and hair appear to be real hair. The doll is made of fabric with painted facial features. |
