Description |
This salad plate has an orange trim with a feminine profile in the center. Behind the figurine are red and blue flowers. The figure holds a goblet and is extending one finger. There is no manufacturer date on the bottom of the plate but the numbers 5825 are written in the underglaze. (TR)1965.073.153.d and e have the same decoration. This plate may be by Egisto Fantechi in the Liberty Style, an Italian variant of Art Nouveau, but there are no maker marks. |
