Description |
This is a framed cross stitch of the state of Tennessee with state symbols. The state is created with a thin black outline and the name of the state is in red beneath. There are small images within the outline, including: an iris (the state flower); a ladybug (the state insect); a Northern Mockingbird (the state bird); a building representing the Tennessee State Capitol in Nashville; a shape with "JCMS" inside representing Johnson County Middle School (where the embroidery was made); the Chattanooga Choo Choo; the Knoxville World's Fair 1982; a raccoon (the state mammal); the state flag; and a cotton plant near Memphis. The embroidery is surrounded by a red matboard and a brown wooden frame. |
