Description |
This untitled ceramic vase by Sammie L. Nicely is molded in red ceramic clay and was not fired for glaze, making it a dull color with a rough texture. There are incised markings for decoration, and a pulling technique was used at the top to offer a close and fluffed design. The rim is rolled. The bottom is flat. "Tenn / 1982 / Nicely" is inscribed on the bottom. |
