Description |
This is a small sculpture of a feminine figure. She is seated while leaning forward with her left hand resting on her left knee. Her right hand is reaching down toward what appears to be a lotus flower. The women has long hair that falls over her right shoulder as she looks toward the flower. She wears a loose fabric around her waist. Note the signature "I C Johnson," which affirms that this piece was made after the artist married in 1917. |
