Description |
This sculpture is comprised of corroded and found objects. The body of the sculpture is two conjoined, human-like figures. Their four legs are attached to a base that appears to be made from a corroded tractor seat, or perhaps a portion of an antique wood/coal burning stove. The exact function of the base prior to its use as an art material is unknown at this time. The bodies of the figures appear to be made from a corroded radiator. The heads of the figures are short wooden columns or miniature logs--potentially knobs or handles of some kind. Corroded screws and other small metal pieces were inserted into the wood to create eyes, noses, and mouths for the figures. The figures have matching sets of "hair" made from curled metal shavings. |
