This is a red t-shirt. "Local Union 1503 United Mine Workers of America UMWA" is printed in black on the front left breast. "2021 Labor Day Celebration" is printed in black on the back of the shirt. There is an image of mountains with snow beneath the text on the back of the shirt. "Battle of Blair Mountain 100th Anniversary Aug. 25, 1921 - Sept. 2, 1921 The Largest Labor Uprising in American History" is also printed on the back of the shirt. The Battle of Blair Mountain is remembered as being one of the largest labor uprisings in United States history. The United Mine Workers of America describe themselves as "a diverse union with membership that includes coal miners, manufacturing workers, clean coal technicians, health care workers, corrections officers and public employees throughout the United States and Canada." |
