Description |
This insignia patch is for the 6th Armored Division of the United States Army during WWII, also known as the "Super Sixth." The patch would have been worn on the left shoulder. The patch is triangular, split into sections: red, blue, and yellow. There is a "6" embroidered in black for the Sixth Division in the top yellow section. In the center is a tank track, a cannon, and a bolt of lightning layered on one another. The edge is olive green. On the back one side of a snap is sewn in each corner. |
