Description |
This is a promotional sign for Mountain Dew (beverage). It features "Willy the Hillbilly" shooting a cork through his hat in the bottom right corner. Willy is wearing a black and yellow-checked shirt and is standing in front of a white sign on a wooden wall. The green and red text in the center reads: "Yahoo! drink Mountain Dew" Next to Willy, brown text reads: "It'll tickle yore [sic] innards!" This phrase is an example of writing in vernacular, supposedly with a mountaineer accent. The bottom left corner is badly rusted, but some text is still apparent. It says "... Made in Canada....rker - 67." Losses in the metal or paint are indicated by the '...' |
