Description |
This solar etching is titled "Mountain Angle." The artist wrote, "Even today, the Appalachian forests still standing are among the most biodiverse in the world. This image reminds me of the forest's value and of its vulnerability once the trees are taken away." The central image of this etching features a white sky with dark, contrasting barren trees in the background. A black terrain with a strip of white separating it from the trees is positioned in the foreground. This collection was featured in Frazier's 2007 exhibit "Brushy: Between the Halves of My Heart." |
